1. Assigning Tags to a Virtual Machine During Creation
Step 1: In the menu, select Instance Management, then click Create instance to create a new virtual machine.
Step 2: In the Create instance dialog box, users can select tags in the Add tag (optional) field to assign tags to the virtual machine.
Step 3: Enter the remaining required information and click Create to create the virtual machine. The assigned tag will be displayed in the Tags field on the Instance Management screen.
2. Managing Tags for a Virtual Machine
Step 1: On the Instance Management screen, select a virtual machine, click Actions, then choose Manage tags.
Step 2: A dialog box will appear, allowing users to select tags to assign to the virtual machine.
Step 3: Removing Tags from a Virtual Machine
To remove a tag, click the “x” next to the tag name. Users can also click the “x” at the end of the list box to remove all tags at once. Then, click Save to confirm the changes.
Note: When a virtual machine is deleted, the system will automatically remove all associated tags and update the tag list on the Tagging screen.
