Persistent Disk

For this disk, GPU Container provides High-Performance Storage, which is a type of persistent storage that is preserved for the duration of a container’s life. It functions similary to a hard disk, allowing you to store data that needs to be retained even if the container is stopped.

Key characteristics:

  • Persistent storage that remains available until the container is deleted permanently
  • Suitable for storing data, models, or files that need to be preserved across container restarts or reconfigurations
  • To help prevent data loss, the storage capacity can only be increased — decreasing it is not currently supported by GPU Container

Temporary Disk

Temporary disk is a type of storage that provides temporary storage for a container. Each GPU instance option comes with a predefined amount of temporary disk. Currently, the size of this temporary disk cannot be changed by users. Please be aware that any data stored on the temporary disk will be lost when the container is stopped or deleted. Make sure to back up important data before shutting down your container.
