Subnets are subnetwork created within your VPC. It is equivalent to a LAN in a physical system. You can attach one or more subnets to a virtual machine based on your needs.
Step 1: In the Menu bar, select Networking > Subnets.
Step 2: Click Create, and the Create Subnets screen will appear.
In this screen:
Name: Enter the subnet information name. Users can use the suggested name, or they can enter a more memorable name.
Type:
Routed to the internet via a NAT gateway: Connects to the internet through a NAT gateway.
Isolated subnet won’t route to the internet: Uses an internal network.
CIDR: Enter the gateway IP, suggested by the system or edited within limits.
Static IP Pool: Enter static within the suggested range provided by CIDR.
Step 3: After entering the necessary information, click Create subnet:
Note: - After creating subnets, users should not change the subnet names.
